Jon Rothstein

Jon Rothstein is a College Basketball Insider for MSG Network, CBS Sports Network, and CBSSports.com.

In late 2010, Jon joined CBS Sports Network as their College Basketball Insider. As part of his duties, Jon is a regular studio analyst on Inside College Basketball, CBS College's weekly college basketball show alongside Adam Zucker, Alaa Abdelnaby, and Wally Szczerbiak. Additionally, Jon serves as the host of the network's popular One2One interview program, where he interviews some of the top names in sports.

For the past two years, Jon has also served as a studio analyst for March Madness on Demand - the joint CBS Sports/Turner Sports digital venture, viewed by millions throughout the NCAA Tournament.

Since 2007, Jon has been an NBA and College Basketball Insider for MSG Network, contributing to the Network's television and digital coverage including a daily blog. Rothstein can also be seen on MSG's New York Knicks pre-game coverage since the 2007-08 season, where he interviews many of the game's young stars.

Jon has also served as a college basketball insider on CBSSports.com, including their live Bracket Breakdown. Jon also contributes to CBSSports.com as a writer with his college basketball column.

Beyond television, Jon can be heard over the airwaves as well. After serving as a talk show host for 1050 ESPN Radio in New York from 2005–2011, Jon joined WFAN in June 2011 and made his debut previewing the 2011 NBA Draft with Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts. Additionally, Jon is the national radio host for Compass Media's coverage of college basketball, college football, and the NFL. Jon's print work has also been featured on ESPNNewYork.com, Basketball Times, and Scout.com.

In the past, Jon was also seen on CN8’s Out of Bounds, WNBC’s “Mike'd Up”, and on Versus "The Daily Line".

In 2007 and 2008, the National Football League hired Jon to serve as an analyst at the NFL Draft. Jon covered the NBA Draft for the YES Network in 2003 and 2004.

In 2004, Jon was the winner of the initial Dream Job competition on 1050 ESPN Radio in New York City. Jon once admitted on air that he watches part of Rocky II, Rocky III, or Rocky IV, before each show, and frequently cites his favorite New York City restaurants, most notably Angelo's on Mulberry Street and the Upper East Side's Sutton Pizza.

Jon is a graduate of Ithaca College, where he was recognized as a distinguished young alumnus in sports.
